    Molybdenum trioxide is a light gray powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in alkali and acid, with high purity. Phosphomolybdic acid is formed by reaction with phosphoric acid. Pure molybdenum trioxide is produced by wet chemical purification and roasting. It is suitable for reducing molybdenum powder, producing molybdenum wire and molybdenum sheet.

    Application

    Application:

    1. It is used as a catalyst in the petroleum industry, as well as in the manufacture of molybdenum metal, enamel pigments and pharmaceuticals.

    2. It is used as raw material for powder metallurgy and manufacturing various molybdenum metal materials in metallurgical industry, and as raw material for molybdenum source additive of various molybdenum compounds and molybdenum catalyst in chemical industry.

    3.It is used as raw material for preparing metallic molybdenum and molybdenum compounds. Used as a catalyst in the petroleum industry. It can also be used as enamel, glaze, pigment and medicine.
