Copper oxide (CuO) is a black oxide of copper that is slightly amphoteric and slightly hygroscopic. The relative molecular weight is 79.545, the density is 6.36.9g/cm3, and the melting point is 1326ºC.
High specific surface area: catalyst-specific copper oxide usually has a large specific surface area, which is conducive to improving the activity and reaction efficiency of the catalyst.
Controlled morphology: The morphology of copper oxide has an important impact on its catalytic performance, so the catalyst specific copper oxide usually needs to have a controlled morphology and crystal structure.
Good stability: catalyst-specific copper oxide needs to have good thermal stability and chemical stability to ensure the stability and durability of the catalyst under reaction conditions.

Low temperature catalysis: copper oxide can be used to prepare low temperature catalysts for automotive exhaust gas purification, industrial waste gas treatment and other fields.
High-temperature catalysis: copper oxide can also be used to prepare high-temperature catalysts for the catalysis of high-temperature reactions such as CH4 reforming and AN oxidation.
Oxidation reaction: copper oxide can be used for the preparation of catalysts for oxidation reactions, such as MA oxidation, C6H6O oxidation, etc.
