Features
White amorphous powder, relative density 3.25. There are α-zirconium hydroxide, β-zirconium hydroxide and γ-zirconium hydroxide three, α-zirconium hydroxide in Zr4(0H)8(OH)8? nH2O; β-zirconium hydroxide is characterized by Zr4O2Chemicalbook(0H)4(0H)8? H2O means; γ-zirconium hydroxide with Zr4O4(OH)8? H2O means; Chemical activity α > β > γ. Insoluble in water and alkali, soluble in organic and inorganic acids, calcined at high temperatures into zirconia.
1. The neutralization method uses zirconium oxychloride and ammonia water as raw materials to prepare zirconium hydroxide: Under stirring at room temperature, pure ammonia water is slowly added into 0.2 ~ 0.3 mol/L high purity zirconium oxychloride solution, and the solution is neutralized until pH = 8 ~ 85, and then washed with pure water until no chloride ion (Cl-) is present. The product is obtained after filtration and separation, and the cake is dried at 120 ℃.
