    Description: 

    Lithium oxalate is a reaction between oxalic acid and industrial grade single-water lithium hydroxide, the reaction end point is controlled 7 ~ 7.5, and then separated and dried to obtain high purity lithium oxalate. The method of preparing lithium hydrogen oxalate with oxalic acid and lithium chloride solution Chemicalbook, and then lithium hydrogen oxalate to prepare lithium oxalate has not been reported, and the cost of lithium chloride is lower than that of lithium hydroxide. Lithium oxalate can be used in pharmaceutical industry to produce lithium salt raw materials.

    Functions and Applications

    Application:

    1. Lithium oxalate is used as lithium battery electrolyte. It is also used as an analytical reagent and reducing reagent. Further, it is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of other chemicals such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, dyestuffs and in organic synthesis.

    2. Oxalic acid dilithium salt may be used to prepare lithium tetrafluorooxalatophosphate, an electrolyte for Li-ion batteries with better thermal stability.

    Storage:

    Keep container dry. Keep in a cool place. Ground all equipment containing material. Keep container tightly closed. Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place. Combustible materials should be stored away from extreme heat and away from strong oxidizing agents.
