(1) Sodium butyrate can maintain the integrity of intestinal mucosal structure of livestock and poultry, make intestinal fleeces robust and orderly, and improve the thickness of intestinal muscle layer, mucosal thickness and the ratio of villi height to crypt depth.
(2) Fast energy source of intestinal epithelial cells, fast energy supply.
(3) Promote intestinal development in livestock and poultry, improve the relative length of intestinal tract, up-regulate the relative expression of EGF in colon, and increase the thickness of intestinal mucosa.
