Features
The product has good chemical stability and high temperature performance, slightly harder than quartz, can be used as a carbide carbide additive.
Black cubic crystal. It contains 19.08% carbon and belongs to sodium chloride cubic crystal system. The melting point is 2810℃, the boiling point is 3900℃, and the relative density is 5.77. Soluble in nitric acid, insoluble in cold water, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. Fused with potassium nitrate. The chemical properties are stable and resistant to chemical corrosion.
Applications
1, can be used for cutting tools, steel industry and tungsten-based cemented carbide grain refiner, can significantly improve the alloy performance.
2, vanadium carbide as a grain refiner has been widely used in steel and other industries, with the development of science and technology, high purification, nano vanadium carbide, its application has been further expanded, has been widely used in cemented carbide and catalytic materials and other fields, is a combination of vanadium and titanium resources development and production of an important class of high value-added new materials.
