Functions and Applications
1. Cerium oxide can be used as a glass industry additive, as a plate glass grinding material, has been expanded to glasses glass, optical lenses, picture tube grinding, decolorization, clarification, glass ultraviolet and electronic line absorption.
2. In the production of rare earth luminescent materials, cerium oxide is added as an activator in the rare earth tricolor phosphors of the luminescent materials of energy-saving lamps and in the phosphors used for indicators and radiation detectors.
