Features
Molybdenum carbide is a gray hexagonal crystal. It has the characteristics of high melting point and hardness, good thermal and mechanical stability and good corrosion resistance. The melting point is 2692°C. Insoluble in water and lye, slightly soluble in nitric acid, sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid.
High hardness: nanometer molybdenum carbide has a high hardness value and can be used to prepare high-hardness materials.
Excellent thermal stability: nanometer molybdenum carbide shows excellent thermal stability at high temperatures, and can maintain its stable physical and chemical properties.
High corrosion resistance: nanometer molybdenum carbide has high corrosion resistance and can maintain the stability of its structure and properties in harsh environments.
Good electrical conductivity: nanometer molybdenum carbide is a good conductive material, which can be used to prepare electronic devices and conductive materials.
High strength: nanometer molybdenum carbide has high strength and can be used to prepare high-strength structural materials.
Applications
Molybdenum carbide has a high initial catalytic activity in the benzene hydrogenation reaction. Although the catalyst gradually deactivates as the reaction progresses, its steady-state conversion frequency (TOF) is still comparable to that of noble metals Pt or Ru.
Storage conditions
This product should be stored in dry, cool and sealing of the environment, can not be exposure to air, in addition should avoid the heavy pressure, according to ordinary goods transportation.
