Rubidium hydroxide (RbOH), a strong alkali, stronger than potassium hydroxide. It consists of rubidium ions and hydroxide ions in the ratio of 1:1. Rubidium hydroxide is highly corrosive, so appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and safety glasses should be worn when used.

Rubidium hydroxide is a kind of strong alkalii, which is more alkaline than potassium hydroxide. It is a white solid, easy to be deliqusce, and has alkali property. It can react with CO2 in the air to form rubidium carbonate.
Rubidium oxide dissolves in water to form rubidium hydroxide
Equation: Rb2O+H2O=2RbOH
Rubidium sulfate and barium hydroxide react to form barium sulfate precipitation and rubidium hydroxide
Equation: Rb2SO4+Ba(OH)2=2RbOH+BaSO4
