304L stainless steel, also known as ultra-low carbon stainless steel, is a versatile stainless steel material.
304L is a variant of 304 stainless steel with a lower carbon content and is used in applications where welding is required. The lower carbon content minimizes the carbides precipitated in the heat-affected zone near the weld, which can lead to intergranular corrosion (welding erosion) in stainless steel in some environments.

304L stainless steel forging performance is poor, deformation is more difficult.
Corrosion resistance :304 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance at room temperature, and can resist the corrosion of most acids, alkalis and some salt solutions.
High temperature strength :304 stainless steel in high temperature environment still maintains high strength and hardness, suitable for high temperature working environment applications.
Good processing performance :304 stainless steel is easy to process and form, and can meet the needs of different shapes and sizes.
High strength :304 stainless steel has high strength and tensile strength of about 520MPa, which is one of the excellent structural materials.
Good thermal stability :304 stainless steel has good high temperature resistance and can be used for a long time at 600°C, so it can also be used to make heaters, heat exchangers and other equipment.
