Functions and Applications
1:Lutetium Oxide, also called Lutecia, is the important raw materials for laser crystals, and also have specialized uses in ceramics, glass, phosphors, lasers.
2:Lutetium Oxide also be used as catalysts in cracking, alkylation, hydrogenation, and polymerization.
3:Stable Lutetium can be used as catalysts in petroleum cracking in refineries and can also be used in alkylation, hydrogenation, and polymerization applications.
4:It can also be used as an ideal host for X-ray phosphors
